The purpose of the dynamic penetration ground test
is to measure the strength of layers crossed by a probe,
eliminating the lateral friction. This test is very
important in practice, since it rapidly gives a precise
idea of the strength of grounds in their natural state.
The light 10 daN dynamic penetrometer provides an easy
way of determining ground dynamic breaking strength
in the various layers crossed.
Thee depth of penetration can be up to 10 metres depending,
of course, on the nature of the ground.
Because of its design, this instrument is easily transported
on sites that vehicles cannot access due to their weitht
and risk of accidents.
