Testing machine of static punching of the
bituminous mix

This test makes it possible to record the depression
in mm of a test-tube plunged in water at a constant
temperature and under a constant load.
This test is described in Annals of the Technique institute
of the Building industry and Public works N° 465
of June 1988 - Series Tests and measurements 218.

Principle of the test :
The tests consists in measuring, according to time, temperatures
and under loads given, the depression of a punch of section
defined in a test-tube of the product submitted for testing.
This depression expressed in mm depends :
- Duration of test.
- Load applied.
- Temperature to which of the test carries out.
The values of the skeletal latter are selected in function
:
- Use for which it is planned.
- Environment in which it will be used.
The CEBTP produced several equipments for this test.
